PERMIT!..... finally

Yes that's right. I got my permit, so watch out fellow drivers! My mom and I went in this last Monday to Mesquite. I had been studying really hard and I was pretty confident. I ended up only missing one. I was a little upset that my mom wouldn't let me drive home but it was actually probably a very good thing...... I think I would have killed us both. But I've been doing alot of driving around town. I need to have 50 hours of driving time and then the next step will be my LICENSE!

Happy Birthday America!

As we all know yesterday was our country's birthday. Our family celebrated it the same way we do every year and it was alot of fun. We all woke up early to go to the fairgrounds for the breakfast. After we all ate we layed out on the grass and enjoyed the water games, candy drop, and firetrucks. Analise and I actually went home after the candy drop. She finally has her license!! When we got home we watched The Prestige. It was an awesome movie about these two magicians trying to get revenge on eachother and I highly reccomend it. So after that got over our family went up to my grandma's pool to swim and have a barbeque. We ended up being there for about 2 hours and when I got home I slept until about 7. When I woke up our family went back up to the fairgrouds for dinner. We layed our blankets back out and after they served dinner they did the fireworks. It was so nice laying there, surrounded by family and feeling that sense of pride I think we all have on Independence Day. When we got back home my dad started fireworks of our own in our driveway. My uncle Steve brought Wyatt and Emma over and they brought some fireworks too. Analise and I were sitting on the grass fairly closer to the fireworks than everyone else and actually got pelted a couple of times by pieces of fireworks. We didn't even know what some of them were supposed to do and I'm sure there were a couple illegal ones in there hahaha but it was alot of fun. And I'm so proud to be an American!

Week At Fishlake

Well this past week has been a blast. My dad decided to take all the young men up to Fishlake for a high adventure. We have a cabin up there so my mom thought it would be fun to take us up there at the same time and stay in our cabin. She let me invite Mady and Wednesday morning we drove up with all the boys. We stopped at Cove Fort on the way and had fun walking around and taking the tour. Then we stopped in Richfield for lunch and ate at Taco Time. We took our food to a nearby park and even got to talk with Lisa who stopped by for a little while. On Thursday it was Mady's bday! We drove to Capitol Reef and went swimming and jumped off the cliffs. The boys were there too and when we were tired we went to the park and ate sandwiches. On the way back to the cabin we stopped at a mini mart and bought some cake mix and icecream for Mady's bday. When we got back Mady and I made the cake and we all sang happy birthday and watched her blow out her candles. Then all the boys (there had to be at least 30 crammed into our tiny little living room) came up to our cabin to watch Nacho Libre. It was alot of fun watching it with them. On Friday we spent alot of time at the lodge. It rained almost all day and Mady and I bought these cute matching Fishlake shirts. My dad took us across the lake and Mady got to carve her name in the same tree her mom had carved her name in. Then Lynae and I went tubing. We didn't have our swimsuits though so we went in our regular clothes! The water was absolutly freezing and we made my dad take it easy on us. We were terrrified of falling in in our clothes lol. We came home Saturday morning. All in all it was an awesome week and I'm so happy Mady got to come with me!

Weekend In Panguitch

So this past weekend for Memorial Day weekend Tibi invited me with her family to their cabin in Panguitch. It was so much fun. We played games, went four wheeling, watched movies and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. The weather really was gorgeous. There was still snow left on the mountain and when it was fun building fires when it got cold. My favorite part I think was staying up till like one in the morning singing Taylor Swift songs with Tibi and playing murderer in the dark lol. I'm so glad she invited me (love you Tibi!!!! :D ). Hahaha anyways here are some pics.

Leaving The Nest

Sorry I just couldn't resist saying that those baby birds are all grown up now..... They finally learned how to fly!!! It seemed appropriate that the day they learned to fly was on Mother's Day...... haha I bet that was the best present they could think of for their mama :). They still haven't moved out though. I guess they just aren't quite ready to take on the world. But I was so excited to see how grown up they are and I'm going to miss not seeing them outside my window anymore........
